four-hour book sale from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All items in
the Community Room will be priced at 50¢. Books in the
ongoing sale area will be sold at 50% off during this four
hour sale.

which refers to serialized Japanese comics, and
anime, which spans every genre of animation
imaginable. Her commentary will include a brief
history of Japanese comics and a description of the
cultural differences accounting for the pervasive
presence of manga and anime in Japan, relative to
their niche market in the United States.
