Clara Silverstein will discuss how she researched her book about healthy ways to cook with the kinds of vegetables and fruits grown in the White House garden and fun facts about White House gardens, past and present. She will also show photos from her two visits. A White House Garden Cookbook will be available for purchase and autograph.

Clara Silverstein is the author of The Boston Chef's Table and coauthor of the New England Soup Factory Cookbook. Her articles have appeared in The Boston Globe, Prevention, and Runner's World. She directs the Chautauqua Writers' Center.
