Celebrate Earth Day by discovering hidden bridges, scenic walkways and historic locations along the Charles River during a slide presentation by author Kathleen Rowe, author of Exploring the Charles River.

A dedicated environmentalist and former English teacher, Kathleen Rowe will take you on a journey along Boston's famous waterway, narrating her photographs of the many scenic and historic sites she has captured for her book.

The author will help you find new places to visit along the Charles, ranging from urban locations to wetland areas and hidden coves. Her historic details will enrich the experience of exploring the familiar and unfamiliar world of the Charles River. Rowe's book may be used as a guide to river exploration.

Books will be available for purchase and autographing at the end of the presentation.
