• Patrons may request materials from other Minuteman Library Network libraries by searching the Minuteman Library Network catalog and logging in with your library card number, and PIN/Password. You will be notified by either by text message, email, or print mail when your item is ready to be picked up at the Needham Free Public Library. If needed, ask a Reference Librarian for assistance.
• Commonwealth Catalog requests – The Commonwealth Catalog is used to request items from other non-Minuteman libraries in Massachusetts. It can take up to 2 weeks to receive these items. There are no renewals allowed for these requests.
• OCLC – World Catalog Requests – The Reference Staff will search the rest of the country for items in a special nationwide online catalog. Needham’s borrowing is restricted to non-charging suppliers only. It may take up to a month to receive. Due dates vary and renewals are sometimes available. Please ask ta Reference Librarian for assistance.
