Community Room
The Needham Free Public Library Community Room is available for community meetings, lectures, performances, and educational programs. The room accommodates up to 100 people and includes chairs, tables, and audiovisual equipment upon request, including a projector, screen, and microphones. Reservations may be requested up to 90 days in advance and must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the event date. Requests are approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Please review the Public Use of Community Room Policy.
Fees and Payment
Community Room use fee: $30 | Projector use fee: $30
Make checks payable to Town of Needham and deliver to Reference & Programming Librarian.
To Reserve the Community Room
Review the meeting room details and Terms & Conditions, select an available date and booking period, and complete the online form. Submit your signed Waiver and Release Form and payment at least one week before your event. If you plan to use the audiovisual equipment, schedule an overview with the Reference & Programming Librarian at least one week in advance.

Study Rooms
There are three rooms available to reserve by using the form below. Reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis, one day in advance. If you need help booking a room, please contact the Reference Department at (781) 455-7559 x81051.
- Rooms can be booked for up to 2 hours.
- Rooms can only be used up to 3 times a week (Sunday to Saturday).
- Occupancy of rooms may not exceed 4 people.
