Looking for information on Summer Reading for Teens entering Grades 7 – 12? – you’ve found it!

This summer we’re doing things a little differently (but very similar to last year for those who participated then):

Those who are entering grades 7 – 12 are welcome to participate in the Summer Reading Program for Teens at the Needham Free Public Library by filling in squares on our Library Teen Book Bingo!

Read different books to satisfy each bingo square – books can only be used for one square each, so choose wisely! There are your school suggested summer reading lists that can fill a bunch of the squares, but there’s also the MTCBA list!

The MTCBA – the Massachusetts Teen Choice Book Awards – page will give you 21 different books to choose from! Did you know that this list of 21 nominated books of all genres has been curated by a committee of public librarians, school library media specialists and educators from across the state? Teens from grades 7 – 12 are invited to read these 21 titles starting now and throughout the summer and then vote for their favorite books beginning sometime in September!

The school’s Summer Reading lists may give you a starting point for some of the activities, so come on in, register to start the program and get free stuff!
